Marketing and Operations Intern

You'll be working alongside with our experienced Accounting seniors as an understudy; to learn and gain hands-on experience on the following areas:
<ul>
<li>Gain Financial Acumen –Understand the financial performance metrics and how your role contribute to the financial results of the organisation.</li>
<li>Participate in the daily operations of the accounting and finance functions within the company (AP, AR, GL, Bank reconciliation etc)</li>
<li>Assist to prepare monthly reports for closing of accounts.</li>
<li>Participate in regular cash audits and inventory stocktakes at our retail outlets</li>
<li>Assist with fact checks and resolve discrepancies.</li>
<li>Perform financial related administrative tasks (proper document records keeping etc).</li>
</ul>

Bee Cheng Hiang started in Singapore in 1933, where an enterprising street hawker peddled the streets of Chinatown selling freshly barbecued meat. Business was especially brisk during festive seasons for this high quality traditional delicacy, which Mr Teo Swee Ee introduced as 'Bakkwa'.
Through his passion for calligraphy and divination, he created the Bee Cheng Hiang brand name, 美珍香.

Each character is composed of nine calligraphic strokes, signifying (in Chinese) brand longevity and a representation of the Bee Cheng Hiang experience. Visitors are warmly welcomed by the appearance and aroma of our Bakkwa when they come to our shops.

Unchanged since 1933, our recipe retains the traditional Bakkwa taste and is uncompromising in quality. Our Bakkwa are still handcrafted over traditional bamboo sieves; that is why no two pieces are exactly the same.
We are consistently recognised as one of Singapore’s Food Safety Partners by the AVA. Bee Cheng Hiang's production process has been awarded ISO 9001 certification and we are HACCP certified. We believe our success rests on our exacting requirements for the production of our products and high standards of hygiene.
