Chateau d'Armailhac 2009

Chateau d'Armailhac 2009

0% of 100

Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Cabernet Franc/Petit Verdot The 2009 D'Armailhac has a medium to deep garnet color, and vibrant red and black fruit preserves, incense, earth and dried herbs all spring from the glass with a faint undercurrent of beef drippings. Medium-bodied, firm and chewy in the mouth, it has just enough maturing, savory fruit to fill the palate, with a lively line of freshness and an herbal lift on the finish.

CHATEAU d'Armailhac 2010

The colour is dark and intense, almost black. The nose opens on fruit aromas, especially black cherry, followed by toasted, roasted notes. The wine is immediately full and powerful on the attack, with well-rounded tannins and fruit flavours that develop notes of vanilla, roasted coffee and toasted nuts. The long finish is sustained by slightly toasted, oaky flavours.
